SB SETEC S.p.A. is the merger of SB Progetti S.p.A. (founded in 1970) and SETEC S.p.A. (founded in 1993). Today, SB SETEC is a dynamic company, capable of quickly adapting to today’s client needs which collaborates with the leading national and international engineering companies.
Our organization performs market analysis, basic and detailed engineering services, feasibility studies, cost estimates, plant performance optimization studies, supervision and EPC (Engineering – Procurement – Construction) services, through BAT (Best Available Technologies) in compliance with all HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) regulations.
We perform in both upstream and downstream operational processes. Our core business pertains to the downstream and upstream petrochemical sector. SB SETEC is frequently called upon to improve and develop maintenance and revamping as well. SB SETEC takes pride in having specially created a vastly experienced and highly specialized team for Turn Around planning, scheduling and supervision needs. SB SETEC’s environmental engineering division provides:
- Design and study of interventions, to comply with laws and regulations such as environmental remediation and safety enhancement of contaminated sites;
- Environmental consulting support;
- Plant design and construction;
- Decontamination and decommissioning.
Increasing attention to environmental issues means the constant growth of the REMEDIATION MARKET with reference to the remediation of existing industrial sites and brownfields. SB SETEC operates in accordance with the following International Standards certified by RINA:
- UNI EN ISO 9001:2015;
- UNI EN ISO 14001:2015;
- UNI EN ISO 45001:2018;
- UNI/PdR 125:2022.
SB SETEC has developed a specific training program addressed to all staff to ensure effective application of these standards.
Model 231 serves both as a support tool and one of the main points of SB SETEC’s Code of Ethics. The Supervisory Board and additional control and monitoring tools provided in the Model 231 are key elements of the said Code.
